Years / Surfing Experience: I started surfing in the north east, mainly around the Scarborough area. Then moved to the warmer waters of the South West, Newquay is where I live now. I have married a Cornish lass, and have two beautiful daughters (Summer and Keira) and a dog Kai. My roots are still in Yorkshire, which I will never forget - I still miss the pud!
My surfing which I live and breath, has nearly caused a divorce on many an occasion, but has taken me all over Europe - France, Spain, Portugal, Lanzarote and Morrocco, as well as Ascention Island, Sri Lanka and soon to be Indonesia (mmmmm warm water!!).
Why Big Waves: I am really looking forward to this venture of tow in surf, as it means I can mix it up with surf I never dreamed possible, taking on new challenges. I honestly believe Britain has so much potential for big wave surfing that has not been fully covered yet. Through local knowledge and combined knowledge as a group we have a lot to offer.
Extras: Being a self employed carpenter, it means I can make time when the conditions are right to drop the tools and go and play. My other hobbies are Motocross and BMX.
